About the author

Andrew Foster, award-winning playwright and novelist, brings 1984 New York to vivid life in the gripping thriller SNOW FALL “Being in 80’s New York was like living on a roller coaster ride. There was a constant sense of danger and also a constant sense of discovery. And its where I fell in love, got married to my amazing life partner and raised two wonderful children. NYC is a passionate place for me and it is at the heart of my Philip Sanders series, the New York Quartet.”

A Note to You

Writing is just plain hard. I remember how hard it was when I was younger, writing plays for Off and Off-Off Broadway – and it remains that way today as I move to thrillers and suspense fiction.

I’ll be writing about writing in some of my posts — and of course, focusing on New York in the late 20th Century.

Feel free to send me your memories of New York. I’ll hope to eventually publish some on the site.

Other Writing

As time allows, I’ll create links to some of my plays and essays here. I’ll send an update when I’m adding them.
